So Lets Start With Driving The Ball

The most important part of the drive, is to work on your back swing. It is important to try and keep the body in the same upright position, almost stiff in appearance. This helps to keep your alignment and to make sure you contact the ball in the way you want. On the downswing, try not to move the body, just keep the same position. Also, try to loosen your shoulders and not be too tense. This will prevent you from hooking the ball.

Pitching The Ball

Of all the golf swing tips, pitching is really all about practise. The more you practise, the better you will become. It is different from driving the ball because every situation will be different. The ball will be lying in a different scenario each time. It maybe in the rough, in a bunker or a simple pitch from the fairway. It is important that you try each variation of these scenrios as you never know what you will be faced with on the day.

Putting Is Very Similar

Just like pitching, you should also practise your putting as much as you can. Again, try different greens when you practise, with varying slopes, to get a good feel of what the ball will do. Start with your grip and make sure that the putter is comfortable to use. You’ll notice all the top golfers have a variety of different putters. Some prefer a small putter, where as other prefer a very long putter, such as Nick Faldo.
