Rory Mcllroy got some good breaks after fending off the harsh winds over at the Dubai Desert Classic to barge into a joint lead. He is now in a six-way tie with fellow golfers Charl Schwartzel of South Africa, Alexander Noren of Sweden, Jeev-Milkha Singh of India, Edoardo Molinari of Italy and Welshman Stephen Dodd. He capped of his run by hitting four birdies on the back nine for a four-under 68.
