No one ever thought that gender issues could go as far as affecting the various golf clubs known today. But apparently Portmarnock Golf Club is applying a no woman member policy which is backed up by a Supreme Court ruling. Why bar women from the sport or from wanting to be a member? Well as far as the club is concerned, it coincides with their principles that of which is to cater to only a specific gender which are males in this case. Well, I guess some female golfer (like Michelle Wie and Annika Sorenstram) should just look elsewhere for golf memberships. That is, if they are looking for one!
