Ping-Eye 2 Wedge Issue Escalating

After Phil Mickelson had been called a “cheat” some days ago, the issue on the legal use of the Ping-Eye 2 wedge is gaining more attention. The latest golfer to question its legality is Padraig Harrington who is ready to reveal the loopholes regarding the new rules on clubface grooves. According to him, the Ping-Eye 2 does not conform to the new rules for 2010, but which remains approved for play in the United States thanks to the settlement of a lawsuit between Ping and the US Golf Association in 1993.
