No thanks to the rains, the PGA Tour event Viking Classic has been postponed to possibly Sunday at the earliest as the courses have made the golf course non-playable. Organizers are hoping it can kick off by Sunday at the earliest but with standing water and mud on the course, the tournament may be rescheduled to a later date or shortening it to 36 holes. The extreme case is cancellation unless the weather cooperates soon. If the tournament would be cancelled, this would be the first time it would happen since April 1991 in Houston.
