Sawgrass Marriott Resort Files for Bankruptcy

Another Golf Resort has revealed that they are seeking bankruptcy protection after a foreclosure complaint was filed against them by the Goldman Sachs Group Inc. The Sawgrass Marriott Resort is best remembered as the site of the U.S. PGA Tour’s Player Championships. Goldman Sachs Group Inc. is owed $192.5 million by the club and now the owners intend to foreclose the resort.
