Mickelson Treated for Arthritis
Phil Mickelson has been treated for psoriatic arthritis, an affliction that affects a small percentage of the population and can cause chronic pain in the joints when attacked by the immune system.
Treatment includes Mickelson injecting himself with a drug (Enbrel) once a week, and he said he feels “90 percent’’ as preparations continue for the 92d PGA Championship at Whistling Straits.
