The HSBC Women’s Golf Championships will be returning in 2010 but with a smaller field and a smaller prize. Many thought that the tourney would be cancelled altogether but apparently organizers felt that a few tweaks could allow them to push through with the event. The prize money will be reduced from US $2 million to US $1.3 million while the participants will be reduced from 78 to 63.
