Woods and Wie Want Golf in 2016 Olympics

Posted on 07 October 2009 by Brian

Yesterday, I had posted that golf was practically out of the 2016 Olympics. Aside from not having the proper facilities, it seems that Brazil is not even interested in accommodating the sport. But popular golfers Tiger Woods and Michelle Wie are lobbying of its inclusion in the 2016 games. In fact, Woods will reportedly address the International Olympic Committee in Copenhagen about it. Will it work? The outlook doesn’t look good. With no facilities and yet no importance for the sport, it looks like these two pro golfers have their work cut out for them. Good Luck Tiger and Michelle!
